Our Mission
Our mission is to be the first point of contact for African, Black, Caribbean (ABC), and Afro-Indigenous, families, children, youth, and seniors seeking necessary resources and support through using a holistic approach to restorative practices for the community. With over 500 families and individuals served in the past 19 years, we want to continue to be a guiding resource for Torontonians in need of support.
Our Vision
Breakaway Relief Foundation’s vision is to see the underrepresented communities across the GTA thriving and fully supported. By engaging with these communities regularly and understanding the depth of their needs, the goal of seeing fulfilled and autonomous communities can be reached. While certain systematic obstacles are unavoidable, BRF wants those who seek our help to rise above their challenges and bring their goals to fruition.
